Zentropy MICE Officially Launches
On 14 October 2025, the Zentropy MICE project was presented at the Valencia Conference Centre. This European project is the result of a public-private partnership led by the Valencia City Council, through its Department of Tourism, and Innovation, in collaboration with Valencia Innovation Capital, the Valencia Conference Centre, the Visit Valencia Foundation, the Polytechnic University of Valencia, and Khora Urban Thinkers.
Zentropy MICE is an innovative initiative that uses the exchange of matter, energy and information to generate ‘zero-entropy’ conferences, i.e., conferences that have a positive impact and leave a lasting legacy in the city of Valencia and among its inhabitants.
The Zentropy MICE project will run for three and a half years, from December 2024 to May 2028, and has a total budget of €5.2 million, 80% of which is financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The project is also part of the European Urban Initiative, an ambitious European urban innovation project which has selected seven European cities to pioneer new tourism models, with Valencia being the only city specifically focused on MICE tourism.
